Experience

Attorney Doyle has been in the private practice of law in the Greater Hartford area since 1990. Attorney Doyle's broad law experience consists of the following: (i) defense work in state criminal courts; (ii) all types of cases in the state probate courts; (iii) personal injury litigation in state civil courts; (iv) business litigation in state courts; (v) summary process litigation in state courts; (vi) general business litigation in state courts; (vii) service as state court appointed committee in foreclosure cases; (viii) business and individual real estate transactions and purchases; (ix) individual and business acquisitions; (x) general corporate law, including small business formation, corporate organizational work, and drafting and negotiating contracts and agreements; (xi) estate planning for individuals; (xii) serve as pro bono probate court appointed fiduciary for indigent and intellectually challenged individuals; and (xiii) serve in fiduciary capacity for clients in their personal affairs.    

In addition to his practice of law, Attorney Doyle has been active in government service since serving on the Wethersfield Town Council from 1991-1994. From 1994 to 2006, Attorney Doyle served in the Connecticut State House of Representatives, and among his Committee responsibilities was serving as the House Chairman of the Banks Committee.

In 2006, Attorney Doyle was elected to the Connecticut State Senate, representing the 9th District, a capacity in which he currently serves. During his tenure in the Senate, Senator Doyle has served as Senate Chairman of the following committees: (i) Aging Committee; (ii) Human Services Committee; (iii) General Law Committee; and (iv) Energy And Technology Committee. Senator Doyle currently serves as the Senate Co-Chairman of the Judiciary Committee.

Attorney Doyle has also been active in many volunteer activities. For many years, Attorney Doyle served as a member of the Board of Directors of the Inter-Community Mental Health Group and as a member of the Wethersfield Memorial Parade Committee, and as a Colby College Alumni Interviewer.
